Creative Director & Exhibit Curator — Imagined Realities: The Art of Production Design
For the inaugural International Production Design Week, I served as Creative Director and Exhibit Curator for Imagined Realities, a digital exhibition celebrating the artistry, craft, and world-building of Production Design for film and television. This project included collaborating and managing more than a dozen creative stakeholders and digital archive partners.
Presented at NantStudios in El Segundo, the exhibition transformed an LED Volume into an immersive gallery, bringing audiences inside the visual worlds created by production designers and their collaborators. I developed the exhibition concept and creative vision, curated the featured work, and shaped the experience from initial storytelling through presentation—working across content, spatial design, technology, and production to create an exhibition that communicated the depth and creative complexity behind the worlds seen on screen.
The project explored Production Design as both visual storytelling and architectural world-building, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience the discipline beyond the finished frame and understand the creative decisions, processes, and people that bring imagined worlds to life.
